Είναι με μεγάλη χαρά και ενθουσιασμό που ανακοινώνουμε τη μεταφορά του φεστιβάλ μας, του Hola Flamenco Festival, από την Αθήνα στο γραφικό χωριό της Υπάτης.
Ένας χώρος γεμάτος φυσική ομορφιά και παράδοση, που φέτος θα φιλοξενήσει ένα από τα πιο ζωντανά και εκρηκτικά φεστιβάλ φλαμένκο στην Ελλάδα.
Το φεστιβάλ θα λάβει χώρα κατά τη διάρκεια του σαββατοκύριακου 3 &4 Αυγούστου, προσφέροντας στο κοινό μια μοναδική ευκαιρία να απολαύσει τη μαγεία του φλαμένκο σε ένα πανέμορφο περιβάλλον. Οι επισκέπτες μπορούν να απολαύσουν τις εκπληκτικές εμφανίσεις και τα σεμινάρια, έχοντας τις σκηνές τους σε απόσταση αναπνοής από τις εγκατάσεις διεξαγωγής και με το όρος Οίτη να απλώνεται μπροστά τους ως φόντο.

It is with great joy and excitement that we announce the relocation of our festival, the Hola Flamenco Festival, from Athens to the picturesque village of Ypati.
A place filled with natural beauty and tradition, which this year will host one of the liveliest and most explosive flamenco festivals in Greece.
The festival will take place during the weekend of August 3rd & 4th, offering the audience a unique opportunity to enjoy the magic of flamenco in a stunning environment. Visitors can enjoy amazing performances and workshops, with the scenes unfolding within breathing distance of the venue's facilities and with Mount Oiti stretching out in front of them as a backdrop.

Σεμινάριο Τραγουδιού Φλαμένκο
Tangos Flamencos - 2 hrs con Esteban Murillo
Τα tangos είναι ένα πολύ δημοφιλές είδος(palo) στο φλαμένκο.
Υπάρχουν πολλά διαφορετικά στυλ, ανάλογα με την περιοχή και τoν εκάστοτε δημιουργό.
Για να μπορέσει κάποιος να τραγουδήσει tangos , πρέπει πρώτα να κατανοήσει τον ρυθμό και τις διάφορες μελωδίες.
Σε αυτό το μάθημα θα ανακαλύψουμε τη βάση του φλαμένκο: τη μελωδία και τη συγκεκριμένη τεχνική του τραγουδιού.
Στη συνέχεια, θα εντριφύσουμε στον ρυθμό και θα μάθουμε να συνοδεύουμε με παλαμάκια (palmas).
Τέλος, θα κάνουμε ένα ταξίδι στην Ανδαλουσία και σε μερικά από τα χαρακτηριστικά tangos της.
Δομή του μαθήματος:
- Ζέσταμα της φωνης, χρησιμοποιώντας το τραγούδι "caña" (εισάγοντας την φρυγική κλίμακα),
- Επεξήγηση του ρυθμού por tangos και ορισμένων παραλλαγών στα παλαμάκια,
- Μελέτη του τραγουδιού "tangos", διδασκαλία διαφόρων στυλ (Málaga: La Repompa, Cádiz: tientos-tangos του Mellizo, Extremadura: tangos της Plaza Alta, Sevilla: tangos της Niña de los Peines, κλπ.).
Η συμμετοχή στο σεμινάριο είναι δωρεάν,αλλά απαιτείται η προκαταβολή για την κράτηση της θέσης, η οποία επιστρέφεται μετά την πρώτη μέρα του σεμιναρίου.

Workshop Description
Flamenco Singing Workshop
Tangos Flamencos - 2 hrs with Esteban Murillo
Tangos are a highly popular form (palo) within flamenco. There are many different styles, depending on the region and the particular creator. To be able to sing tangos, one must first understand the rhythm and the various melodies. In this class, we will explore the foundation of flamenco: the melody and the specific technique of singing. Then, we will delve into the rhythm and learn to accompany with handclaps (palmas). Finally, we will take a journey to Andalusia and explore some characteristic tangos.
Course Structure:
- Vocal warm-up using the song "caña" (introducing the Phrygian mode)
- Explanation of the rhythm "por tangos" and various handclap variations
- Study of the song "tangos" and instruction in different styles (Málaga: La Repompa, Cádiz: tientos-tangos by Mellizo, Extremadura: tangos of Plaza Alta, Seville: tangos of Niña de los Peines, etc.)
Participation in the workshop is free, but a deposit is required to reserve a spot, which is refunded after the first day of the workshop.

About Esteban Murillo
Esteban Murillo, originally from the Charleroi region (Belgium), was born on July 31, 1995. From a very young age, he began classical guitar lessons and then turned to flamenco guitar. However, flamenco has been an integral part of his life since his birth: the voice of his grandfather and the guitars of his uncles resonate in the small house of his maternal grandparents.
Singing seduced him a few years later while performing with the Suena Flamenco group . His passion is such that it pushes him to begin the study of this very particular form of singing which he will subsequently reproduce on stage with passion, sensitivity and personality.
Over the years, Esteban has shared the stage with various internationally renowned artists from the world of flamenco, such asCarlos Piñana , Rosi Navarro "La Divi",Federico Ordoñez , Rubén Molina, Antonio Martínez,Marisol Valderrama , José-Luis Medina, Juan Manuel Zurano, Dani Barba, José-Luis Domínguez, Mathilde Fornelli Antón, Yúrentz Bermúdez, Saïdjah Galo “La Zambra”, Antonio Segura, Serge Dacosse, Alex Otero, François Taillefer, Patricio Grande... In 2013, he notably participated in the first part of the concert by the Spanish singer Niña Pastori at the Cirque Royal in Brussels.
Leyenda , Esteban's first album, was released in December 2014. A fusion between pop and flamenco, it is composed and arranged by Giacomo Aronica and Silvano Macaluso. As for the texts, Esteban calls on Carlos Vaquera, Luis González, his grandfather Paco Murillo and Yoni Vidal. From this project was born the Leyenda show with which he and his musicians will tour Belgium for two years.
In May 2018, Esteban released his new album Mi Verdad, born from his desire to return to the essence of flamenco and pay homage to the great Andalusian poet, Federico García Lorca. This new opus is the result of a collaboration with exceptional artists including Myrddin de Cauter, Bart Maris, Ialma, José-Luis Domínguez, Antonio Paz and many others. On stage, the show Mi Verdad Flamenca was born and brought together Anthony Carrubba “El Carru”, François Taillefer, Giacomo Aronica, Silvano Macaluso and Marisol Valderrama Guerrero.
In 2019, Esteban participated with Anthony Carrubba in the design of In-Puro, the new creation by dancer Federico Ordoñez. He also joins the Impressies van Spanje project produced by La Barraca and travels through the various Flemish scenes. At the same time, he joined the Company of Parisian dancer Rubén Molina with whom he performed in Paris, Corsica, the south of France and Germany. Recently, Esteban was selected by the Jeunesses Musicales of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation to present his new show intended for young audiences in Walloon and Brussels schools. This new creation, In the Footsteps of Paco, honors his grandfather, the poetry of Federico García Lorca and the transmission of flamenco.
