Gráinne (pronounced Gron-ya) Ryan
The artistry of Gráinne’s music and vocals is unique, strong, and haunting. Her songs are a swirling of rootsy pop, solid rock, alternative country, and folk traditions a la Neil Young, The Beatles, Lucinda Williams and Sheryl Crow. Gráinne’s significant 2007 debut CD release, All The Money, is a showcase of her writing and performance talent that brought awards, society recognition and led to Canadian rock veteran Moe Berg (Pursuit of Happiness, Trans Canada Highway Men) producing the bulk of her next powerhouse CD release Looking For Sunshine.
Gráinne’s talent, drive and passion for writing adds titles to her growing catalog and has opened up collaboration opportunities such as co-writing credits on Rick Fine’s 2021 Juno Nominated Blues Album Solar Powered Too and with Alan Black (Jackson Delta) and his circle of musicians for her most recent live performances.
