About this Event
The "magical" Governors Island -- a 10-minute ferry ride from Lower Manhattan -- houses over 60 galleries from around the country in converted homes. You'll visit exhibits showing contemporary painting, sculpture, video and photography. Take the 1-, R-, or W-train to South Ferry/ Whitehall St. Stations, then go to the left of the Staten Island Ferry to board the Governors Island Ferry. Arrive no later than 2:20 PM to board the ferry that leaves at 2:40 PM sharp. Be sure to arrive early or on time, so that the tour doesn’t leave without you. All sales are final, and tickets are valid only for the date for which it was purchased. Tours take place no matter the weather, as the art is all indoors.
