About this Event
Everyone has their idea of the best brownie. Some prefer a fudgy or cakey brownie, others prefer a plain brownie with a chewy texture. Whatever your style of brownie is, a brownie can be elevated and flavored in several ways. Join Chef Tommy Tucker as he teaches you the procedure for flavoring a brownie and illustrates the vast number of ways a basic brownie can be customized. You do not have to add any additional flavorings to your brownie. Sometimes a simple dusting of powdered sugar can make a simple brownie pop. In this class, students will make chocolate ganache, simple buttercream, and an 8x8 pan of classic fudgy brownies and apply what they have learned to make variations such as chocolate mint brownies, candied and peppered bacon brownies, rocky road brownies, or students can create their own flavor combinations from the toppings provided.
While your delicious brownies cool, you will enjoy light appetizers and make a tasty mocktail or cocktail. This class's featured drink is a peanut butter/espresso martini!
