About Gourd Art:
Gourd art involves creating works of art using hard-shell gourds as an art medium. Gourd surfaces may be carved, painted, sanded, burned, dyed, and polished. Typically, a harvested gourd is left to dry over a period of months before the woody surface is suitable for decorating.
About wire wrapping:
Wire wrapping is one of the oldest techniques for making handmade jewelry. These techniques can incorporate anything from gemstone beads, gemstones cabochons to charms and just pure wire work.
