Join FONA for a walking tour of the U.S. National Arboretum Gotelli Conifer Collection with longtime curator Joe Meny.
One of the most unique horticultural displays at the Arboretum, the Gotelli Conifer Collection offers a special beauty in the winter months. This fascinating collection contains a range of colors, forms, and textures that are sure to leave you in awe of the diversity of conifers.
DRESS
Please dress casually — this tour involves walking on uneven terrain. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable, warm, walking clothes and sturdy footwear.
Important Notes
Weather Cancellations: Walks are held in many weather conditions, including light rain or snow. If the FONA cancels the walk due to unsafe conditions or threat of inclement weather, you will be notified by email at least 6 hours before the walk and offered a certificate to attend a walk at a later date.
Low Registration Cancellations: FONA reserves the right to cancel a walk if fewer than 16 people register. In the event of a cancellation due to low participant registration, you will be refunded your registration.
Refund Policy: Full refunds are provided for refund requests received up to 3 days prior to the program date. Please try to cancel early so someone else can have the opportunity to go on this tour.
