Got To Get Out has a brand new intern from the USA and so we are exploring the best parts of Tamaki Makaurau Auckland each weekend!

..Imagine seeing the Waitakere Ranges for the first time..

For this easy grade adventure we are meeting 945am in the Arataki Visitor Center Scenic Drive.

We will first explore the centre, learning about the history of Waitakere, then will embark on an approximately 2.5 hour loop walk, which is a series of short tracks connected to each other.

We start, and finish at the Arataki Visitor Center - no chance to get lost!

Kid friendly if supported by parent or guardian.

M eeting point:

W e will meet in the main carpark of Arataki. Look out for the orange Got To Get Out Landrover!

Safety / risk disclosure:

This is a technically easy walk, though you need to be fit enough for 2-3 hours of walking. You should have any first-aid you need, and have completed our disclosure form (shared to ticket holders pre departure).

Bring:

Come with water, snacks (something edible to share is nice!) enclosed shoes, and sun / wind / rain protection!(exact gear list will follow to ticket holders).

Don't bring:

Dogs, sorry!

This is a winter event and we go rain or shine, because no matter the weather, you have #gottogetout!
