Organised by Lighthouse West Yorkshire in partnership with our friends from Leeds Church Institute
Step into the city. Step into the Gospel.
Join us on Thursday 3rd April for a 4-hour guided pilgrimage through the streets of Leeds — walking with the Gospel of Mark, listening as its words echo through the city streets, and exploring its deep connections with the lived realities of urban life: homelessness, addiction, struggle, and resilience.
This immersive and reflective journey weaves together Scripture, story, prayer and street wisdom — inviting you to listen, look, and ask questions. Questions to the streets, to the Gospel, and to those who know both the ache and the hope of life on the margins.
The pilgrimage will be led by Rev’d Jon Swales MBE, Anglican priest and founder of Lighthouse, with contributions from the Lighthouse community — a community of faith where those battered and bruised by the storms of life find welcome, hope, and belonging.
