The Gospel Picking Circle is a monthly curated community jam for singers and players in the vein of folk, bluegrass, and Americana led by Jen Reilly Bluma and Eddie Bluma of The New Zeitgeist, along with other talented musicians the Second Sunday each month! It is open to the community of all ages and skill-levels. No prior practice is necessary and binders of music will be provided! You do not have to be of any particular faith, or of any faith at all to attend this event. Just enjoy a love of music and the profound impact of these deeply rooted cultural songs as we will be playing simple, iconic traditional gospel songs of the early American folk tradition, African American spirituals, protest music, and many other forms of Gospel music. All are welcome!
