Welcome to Gospel in the Wake: A Poetic Performance!
Come join us on Saturday, June 14, 2025. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the performance starts at 7:00 PM at the Carnegie Museum of Art Theater.
Experience the journey, resilience, and power—join the cast of Gospel in the Wake for an evening of celebration and reflection. Be part of the experience of spiritual traditions that survived the Middle Passage and still shape our practices today.
Immerse yourself in the beauty of poetry, dance, and music as talented artists take the stage to share an inspiring performance. This event promises to be a night to remember where faith and art come together in a powerful and moving way.

Donations for the show are on a “Pay as you Feel” basis and go on sale April 15, 2025, via Eventbrite. Tickets will also be available on performance day at the Box Office.
