Serendipity Arts Festival is back for its 10th edition in Panjim!Marathi Theatre has a legacy of 180+ years. This long history of theatre has witnessed thousands of golden moments. There are countless precious events and occasions in the storehouse of these golden moments. Natyasampada Kalamanch in association with Shourya Productions and Chramangal Arts play Gosht Sanyukta Manapmanachi, produced by Shyamraj Patil and Anant Vasant Panshikar, written by Abhiram Bhadkamkar, stage design by Pradip Mulye, music composed by Kaushal Inamdar, costume by Maurya Ranade, presented and directed by Hrishikesh Joshi, this play reminds us of an important event in history.The play tells the story of 1920’s two legendary artists in Marathi theatre owning their own individual theatre companies Sangeetsurya Keshavrao Bhosle’s Lalit Kaladarsha and Balgandharva’s Gandharva Natak Company both performed Manapman around the time. They had their own business calculations, and yet these two veteran artists decided to work together in a play to raise funds for the Tilak Swarajya Fund. Considering the surrounding circumstances, eco-socio politics, it was not that easy. Yet it happened and became the milestone of Marathi theatre.
