The Planning Department creates zone districts to promote orderly development and preserve property values. A zone classification establishes what uses are permitted on a specific tract of land. Goshen has several different zoning classifications. Check with the Planning Department for the zoning classification of your property.Three members of the Board are appointed by the Mayor, one by the City Council, and one by the Plan Commission. Each member serves a 4-year term.
