Gorg-O-Mish opens Saturday with two debuts from artists who have shaped the city in different but equally deep ways.Syd Woz leads from 2 to 5am. A decade in, she has become a fixture of Vancouver nightlife, known for fluid and organic mixing that builds natural momentum. Her sound draws from early 90s house and techno while folding in contemporary cuts, creating narratives that feel surprising yet seamlessly cohesive. Syd brings a storyteller’s touch to the booth, inviting the room into a journey that evolves with intention.
ZDBT follows from 5 to 8am. A producer, DJ, and live performer with roots in percussion and years of boundary pushing across multiple aliases, he has carved out one of the most singular voices in Vancouver’s underground. His work spans house, techno, punk, ambient, dub, and beyond, merging worlds into high-pressure forms shaped by deep craft rather than trends. With releases across global labels and support from heavyweights worldwide, ZDBT brings a sound made for late-night systems and real movement.
