Thank you to the Gore A&P assn for inviting us to have another fantastic Alpaca Fleece Show after a very successful event last year.Diane Marks very kindly has agreed to judge this show and also to host another Fleece Work shop on Saturday 1st Feb 2025.
The fleece show is open to members of the AANZ but the workshop is free and open to members of the public.
Convener Ineke van Neuren together with the great fleece team of Jessie Haanen and Wendy and Richard Farquhar will make sure it will be a fantastic event. Please support it.
The schedule, entry form and fleece delivery form will be on the AANZ website.

Last years initial show was a fantastic result with 105 fleeces entered. The support came from all over the country and for that we were grateful. We hope it will be the same this year.
After the unfortunate cancelling of the National Show, the Gore A&P would be delighted if you could enter the fleeces you so carefully prepared for the National show together with any other fleeces you may want to enter.
Fleece shows are very important. It gives you an objective assesment of individual fleeces but can also tell you a lot about your breeding program.
Diane is happy to take another fleece workshop where you can discuss everything you want to know about fleeces. Diane will give you the benefit of her many years of experience. You are welcome to bring a problem fleece or discuss the fleece(s) you have entered. The workshop is free and open to the public.
