Tag along this year as we ride our bikes down to Horseshoe lake for a weekend of adventure! This 50 mile ride is all about showing off some of the best riding spots Southern Illinois has to offer. -The plan-
Friday the 2nd- Meet up in Cape Girardeau for backyard camping and a downtown ride to check out our local breweries and late night food spots.
Saturday the 3rd- Wake up and grab lunch on the way out of town, we will be heading down to Horseshoe lake around 1pm (ride details below). Setting up camp and then heading to Horseshoe Bar and Grill for dinner and touch tunes takeovers.
Sunday- Wake up and head to Kozy Korner for the best breakfast in SoIl, and then head back to Cape with a few fun pit stops along the way.
-The Ride-
We will be following a similar route to last year, it will be 25~ miles each way. Saturdays ride out will have a few solid hills, but they are worth the climb, showing off some of SoIl’s best views.
Sunday will be a much flatter experience, after leaving Kozy Korner, we will head back to Cape and pass by the Mississippi, Rock Springs and Thebes.
