About this Event
Join CO2RE - the UK's national research hub on Greenhouse Gas Removal (GGR) - at an evening of fun and learning on GGR, touted as one of the key solutions for tackling the climate emergency. What is GGR? What are the main ways of removing greenhouse gases from the air? What are the benefits and drawbacks?
Hosted at the Old Fire Station in Oxford, join us for Goodbye Greenhouse Gas! to explore the world of GGR through creative and expressive means: think documentary screenings, interactive exhibits, live art, spoken word, workshops, debate, a photography and graphic art competition showcase and more…
We aim to reach an audience of students, activists and local green organisations. The event is free and open to all.
Booking guidelines:
The OFS has limited capacity in several rooms so we ask you to sign up and secure guaranteed spots for your favourite activities through the registration form. We will also allow a queue at the venue and assign those waiting in line spots on a first-come-first-served basis.
If your plans change or you're certain you can't attend ahead of the event, we request you promptly cancel or amend your registration to prevent others from missing out!
Please note:
Organisers will give those who've signed-up up to 5-minutes grace time before assigning their place to those in the queue. Please arrive promptly to avoid disappointment.
We reserve the right to amend the agenda considering spatial constraints and facilitators' availabilities. But, we will confirm slots and share a final programme with all who have signed up closer to the event.
