ADMISSION: Exhibition and reception are open to the public and free to attend. The event will feature complimentary light fare and discounted beverages. All artwork will be available for purchase.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Join local artist Jess! Pfohl as she showcases her artwork at the Lord Baltimore Hotel as part of its rotating Good Taste art exhibition. This quarter, the LB Bistro & Bakery will host Jess! Pfohl’s newest collection titled ROCKSTEADY: Baltimore Pop Culture Set in Stone. Celebrating JessMessin15, this exhibition honors Baltimore’s monumental influence on pop culture. Through her contemporary pieces, Pfohl memorializes the iconic artists who have called Baltimore home and cultivated their creativity within Charm City. Utilizing collage as her base and translating it into vibrant paint, Pfohl’s work pays homage to the foundation and evolution of JessMessin’, a journey she began in 2009.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: Jess! Pfohl, also known as JessMessin, is a renowned Baltimore-based artist celebrated for her eclectic and vivid pieces that often explore the intersection of popular culture, identity, and place. Since 2009, JessMessin’ has been her creative signature, weaving her personal experiences with Baltimore’s unique cultural landscape to create art that is both visually captivating and emotionally resonant. Her work, whether in collage, paint, or mixed media, challenges viewers to consider the significance of community, history, and creativity.
