In his bestselling book Good Soil: The Education of an Accidental Farmhand, author Jeff Chu recounts his experience of taking a break from his article-writing for national publications to work the land at Princeton Theological Seminary’s “Farminary”— a twenty-one-acre working farm where students learn to cultivate the earth while examining life’s biggest questions. Dr. Marilyn Moore will lead a discussion of Chu’s remarkable story and how working the soil led to spiritual revelations of faith, community, holistic well-being, and the interconnectedness of life. This class will also feature an opportunity to meet the author and hear him speak in person on September 12.
