This dance workshop is for anyone who wants to explore their own innate wisdom, no experience required. The movement tools, techniques and inspiration you learn here can be immediately applied to daily life. Designed for adults of every age and ability.

ABOUT ANNE MARIE:
Anne Marie has a fierce commitment to truth seeking and a passion for creating workshops that mix the practical with the wildly creative. She is known for her no-nonsense speaking combined with a relentless sense of humour, compassion and courage. She has a Master’s degree in Leadership, and as an occupational therapist, she’s an innovator in the mental health and trauma space. Anne Marie studied and trained with 5Rhythms founder Gabrielle Roth and has been teaching movement for two decades. She lives in Victoria, Canada and teaches at home and internationally.

The 5Rhythms® is a dynamic movement practice—a body-based awareness practice—that ignites creativity, connection and community. It really is transformational embodiment medicine. The 5 Rhythms–Flowing Staccato Chaos Lyrical Stillness®–are states of Being and exploring them can lead us back to our real, vulnerable, wild, passionate and instinctive self. The 5Rhythms practice was created and developed by artist, theatre director and author Gabrielle Roth.
