Composed of singer-cellist Bonnie Schwarz and accordionist Pete Shaw, the nomadic duo create folk-infused music that test the limits of their traditional instruments. In 2020 they found themselves ‘happily stranded’ in New Zealand during Covid-19 and have performed alongside a line up of New Zealand’s top acts including Nadia Reid, Ria Hall and Lost Tribe Aotearoa. They were winners for the 2020 Purbeck Folk Rising Competition and their nomadic summer saw performances across New Zealand’s largest festivals: TSB Festival of Lights, Resolution, Cuba Dupa, Luminate and more.Jenny Mitchell is an alt-country/folk storyteller with songs wrapped in wisdom and wit. Described by Jesse Mulligan (RNZ) as an unapologetically country artist going from strength to strength, she has graced dozens of festival stages including Australia’s Maldon Folk Festival, Nannup Festival and, of course, the Tamworth Country Music Festival.
