About Good Habits:
One of the most exciting new folk duos to come out of the UK, Good Habits’ award-winning, genre-fusing sound has received international critical acclaim and opportunities to play at Glastonbury, WOMAD, and more in the short 4 years they have been performing.
“musicianship at its 21st century best." - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6
Composed of Bonnie Schwarz (cello + vocals) and Pete Shaw (accordion), the pair mix virtuosic musicianship and vocal harmony with vivid storytelling, drawing on their diverse musical tastes and weaving them into an action-packed narrative of folky goodness.
After a pandemic spent ‘happily stranded’ in New Zealand for all of 2020+2021 where they were supported and endorsed by Amanda Palmer, they arrived back in the UK to spread their joyous music throughout Europe.
Since returning home, they have toured relentlessly around the UK and Europe performing at festivals including Glastonbury, Cambridge Folk Festival, and Shrewsbury Folk Festival whilst developing a loyal fanbase. Won Shrewsbury Folk Festival’s ‘Launch Pad’ and the Purbeck Rising Award whilst also being nominated for the prestigious Cambridge Raphael Prize.
About Clarke:
Clarke Camilleri is hard to put a label on.His song writing is is eclectic, unique and influenced by the many music worlds he swims in.
Growing up in Nottinghamshire, Clarke Camilleri was very much a child of the UK blues/folk revival generation, and has since spent many years moving from country to country with his music, with his banjo usually over his shoulder; a true troubadour. Clarke explains, ‘I love the access that being a musician gives you into other lives; I like being brave with it and seeing where it gets me.
As a result, I've heard a lots of stories from lots of different types of people. Some good and some not so good but these influence my songs greatly’.
