About this Event
Get gravel-y with Team RCB on this social — not epic and not in a hurry — gravel ride, designed to help you dip your toes into North Plains and "other side of the west hills" gravel. This ride welcomes all who have some gravel riding under their belt, who can easily tackle 60 miles of gravel pedaling (including some good climbs and descents), who are interested in exploring new--to them--gravel riding areas within the comfort of a fun group ride setting.
Here's our Route Plan for Stop 3 in North Plains.
Meeting at 9:30am and rolling by 10am, this ride is 36.5 miles with +3,456 ft of elevation gain. It is a fun loop with a couple of key gravel connectors for attendees to learn and enjoy. It is a beginner friendly gravel route, but it is a proper gravel ride where a minimum tire size of 700 x 32c is required to join us. 700 x 40c tires may be preferable for many riders.Come fueled, bringing ride food and plan on spending the day with us, riding at a casual/social pace and stopping at points to re-group. Come to make new friends, ride fun routes, and tailgate after with the team when we’ll break out a sandwich spread and drinks.
