From Good to Outstanding - How can we continually strive for excellence!
Who should attend: Registered Managers, Nominated Individuals, Quality Leads & anyone working in the sector who wishes to strengthen the quality of their adult social care service or learn about good governance.
The event will:
- Give an overview of the CQC Single Assessment Framework & how we can evidence compliance with Well Led/Good Governance
- Discuss Well Led/Regulation 17 – Good Governance & provide tips for auditing in adult social care
- Outline the importance of Lessons Learned & Quality Champions
- Explore how we can use guidance, resources and technology to support the road to Good/Outstanding and to motivate the care team
- Provide ideas on how to improve culture, staff engagement and staff retention
- Include reflective practice/break out sessions to network & share good practice

Presented by Georgina Turner (Owner of Inspired for Health)
Georgina specialises in CQC compliance and good governance for adult social care and healthcare providers. She runs her own Healthcare Compliance Consultancy business - ‘Inspired for Health’ and her professional, qualified and experienced quality team provide a wide range of support to providers which includes:
- Mock inspections
- Audit training
- CQC training
- Staffing cultural reviews
- Collation of staff, people and partner feedback
- Evidence mapping against the Single Assessment Framework
- One to one Registered Manager and NI mentoring.
Her friendly, expert team have worked in healthcare and adult social care for over 30 years, giving them a wealth of practical, front line experience as well as strategic knowledge and practice.
After completing her Nursing Diploma, Law Degree and Masters Georgina supported Adult Social Care Providers, NHS Acute Trusts & Primary Care on a variety of topics including: CQC Compliance with Regulations, Safe Staffing, Consent, Governance and Quality Monitoring.
Georgina has also worked in the NHS as a Quality & Governance Lead Nurse, Internal Healthcare Auditor, Risk Manager, Claims and Litigation Manager, Quality Programme Manager, Information Governance Manager, District Nurse and Acute Medical Nurse as well as many roles within Nursing/Care Home and Domiciliary Care settings.
She has also gained 10 years experience in audit and is a Specialist Professional Advisor (SPA) for the CQC.
This will be a lively, networking event, with an opportunity to reflect on practice and share ideas.
It will be ideal for those who will be leading on provider CQC inspection and compliance.
