We are BACK again at Johnny's Bar in #HighlandParkLA on Saturday November 30th ALL VINYL - NO RULES set.
I want to say a big THANK YOU to all that joined us this past Friday. If you missed it, I changed my traditional style of playing breaking your back dance-floor heaters to play some really amazing compositions that I've accumulated on vinyl throughout my life. A great time was had by all so we're running it back Thanksgiving weekend!
I'm going all over the place from soulful rare grooves to latin jazz, to classic hip-hop to salsa to HOUSE (& you KNOW this). In addition to the Sergio Mendez, Soho, Tribe, Blue 6, JAMES MFn BROWN, Alicia Meyers, WAR, Herb Alpert, Louie Vega, Roy Ayers from last time, I will be bringing MORE Quincy Jones and I'm gonna find that NEW Shelia E salsa record on vinyl.
