About this Event
We, in partnership with the estate of Hunter S. Thompson, are thrilled to formally launch Gonzo Whiskey to the world right here in his hometown of Louisville, Kentucky. And more importantly, we’re doing it during the Derby, a time when all the ills of humanity—and lack thereof—coalesce to drink whiskey, gamble, and dig into some good-ole fashioned decadence and depravity.
Whether you’re a Texas oil baron, a politician, one of the “hordes of wealthy elites,” or just a regular person looking for a uniquely fun time, this is the place for you. The event will be hosted right on Bardstown Road, right in the heart of Hunter's childhood haunts.
The party will be one to remember: fried chicken, caviar, live painted Ralph Steadman-style art, tattoos, “champagne” fountains, and who knows what other decadence and depravity you’ll encounter throughout the night.
