Gongs in the Garden

I will be running a gongbath in the open air and am looking forward to sharing the wonderful sounds of the gongs and other instruments in a natural environment. Here you will be immersed in the therapeutic sounds of the Chau, Sun and Wind Gongs, and Therapeutic percussion such as shakers, rattles and rainsticks, along with the natural sounds of the environment. You will have the chance to experience relaxation on a deep level, allowing the body’s systems to relax, rebalance and re-energise. Sound has been proven to facilitate a deeper meditative state and one that remains with the individual for a greater period of time than that of similar relaxation processes. This is a similar process to the Soundbath but many people have found the gongs more energising.

These sessions are ideal for people who experience anxiety, stress, negative beliefs, pain and for anyone who would like to enjoy the opportunity for deep relaxation. The gongbath is open to everyone, except for pregnant ladies in their first trimester.

After the gongbath there will time to reflect upon the experience.

This Gongbath event is being kindly hosted by the Boundary Way Arts Project. We will hopefully (if the weather is kind) be in the Story Telling Area. If there is rain, we will settle ourselves undercover. Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a mat, cushions and blankets so that you may enjoy the experience more.
