Gong Nidra Meditation & Sound Bath 2/7/25

Yoga Nidra guided meditation and simple breathwork combine with the deep otherworldly sound of gongs, played intentionally and gently, to enable you to sink more fully into a restorative meditative state.

The term "Yoga Nidra" is derived from ancient yogic teachings on meditation and means “yogic sleep.” In this session, the only posture taken is one of rest, Savasana: lying on your back and relaxing your body.

During Gong Nidra, although the body is completely still, the mind is aware and active, as you are guided through a meditative experience of imagery and healing sound that many find to be lasting and deeply profound.

*Due to the extended deep resonant vibrations in this session, if you are in the first trimester of pregnancy, or experiencing a mental health crisis, it is advised not to participate in this experience. If you are feeling uncertain, please check with your physician or mental health provider.

***Ages 15 and over event. Event begins promptly at the stated time, doors will be locked, late entry is not permitted, so please arrive 5-10 minutes early. Yoga mats, knee bolsters, and blankets will be provided, please feel free to bring any addition props desired for comfort. Space is limited, register ahead to avoid disappointment. Parking available in front of our building, lot is accessable from the corner of Central Ave and 47th N.
