About this Event

The Gong Bath

Join us for this deeply relaxing and meditative experience .Take time for yourself and clear your mind of all worries and concerns . No experience needed , just arrive ready to relax and be guided into a calm relaxation.

Using up to seven Gongs along with Himalayan Bowls , Feathers Koshi Chimes , Rain stick and more we create a soundscape to relax your mind and take you into a calm space between sleep and awareness .

Once you are relaxed and laying on the floor in your super comfy space(Bring lots of cushions , yoga mat blankets etc to create your space) we start the session with an explanation of what to expect , followed by a guided mediation to relax your body and your breathing. Then using the drum or Himalayan Bowls start to focus on each sound as it is created to start your relaxation .

The gongs are played in many ways to create a mystical soundscape and backdrop to your thoughts , dreams , visions or journey .

As the gongs fade away feathers Koshi Chimes or other instruments are used to clear the space before shunyata which is a few minutes of silence for you to fully integrate the experience . After this you will be guided back to full awareness and gently awaken .

What to bring

Bring a mat to lie on and cushions and blanket for your comfort during the session . Water for after the sounds is also advised .
