Gondwana Records, the influential British label for spiritual jazz, neoclassical, and ambient music, presents an evening full of new releases. Saxophonist and composer Jasmine Myra is one of the label’s rising stars. During this concert, she will perform new, never-before-played material that builds on her warm, lyrical, and hopeful style. Inspired by artists like Bonobo, Kenny Wheeler, and Ólafur Arnalds, she develops a transparent, spiritual, and emotionally charged sound world. Inspired by legendary artists like Pharoah Sanders and Alice Coltrane, the orchestra creates an intense and sincere atmosphere. Their music invites stillness and connects listeners with one another.
