About this Event
Our group is designed to be friendly and welcoming to all, so even if you aren't a fully-fledged "golf geek" but live locally and are interested to meet new people and discover some history of the sport then do join us for a blether.
These meetings are particularly aimed at people living with dementia and their carers, but anyone with a story to tell will be a valued member of the group!
Details of the session:
- Meet at 2pm in the Museum Learning Room, which is in located in the galleries and is a quieter space, fitted out for meetings.
- Tea and coffee upon arrival and we will stop for a comfort break halfway through.
- There will also be time after the meeting to visit the newly renovated galleries and have a shot of putting with replica hickory clubs.
- These sessions are being run free of charge, and will cover such topics as The Open, club and ball development, courses we have played etc all while looking at photographs, objects and footage of winning moments, and everything in between.
- The Fife Council car park is located next door to the Museum but please note that spaces can be limited. There is an area next to the main road for drop-off if required.
If you have any questions do contact us: Hannah Fleming, Learning & Access Curator [email protected] or 01334 460054.
