East Valley Family Services is thrilled to announce the continuation of our Golden Groceries event, held every first Friday of the month. Starting at 9:00 AM and will continue until supplies run out. This initiative is dedicated to providing essential food items to seniors aged 60 and above in the Las Vegas area.Golden Groceries, in partnership with Three Square, Southern Nevada's only food bank and largest hunger relief organization, offers a selection of bread, vegetables, and canned goods to seniors. We are proud to be a community partner of Three Square, whose mission aligns with our own to support the well-being of our community members.
East Valley on average services about 150 seniors at each Golden Groceries event, ensuring they have access to nutritious food. Seniors participating in the Golden Groceries event can still access food from our pantry throughout the month, ensuring ongoing support for their nutritional needs. To be eligible, individuals must be 60 years or older and present either an Oasis card from Three Square or a valid ID.
In addition to receiving groceries, seniors are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast.
