Competition Rules1. Meeting at 7:00 AM. Check-in runs from 7:30 to 8:00 AM. Afterwards, there will be a 15-minute briefing, and we aim to be on the boats and on the water by 8:30–8:45 AM.
2. Fishing will continue until 4:00 PM at the latest.
3. Fishing rules:
• Only spinning gear is allowed.
• Permitted lures: soft and hard lures, wobblers, poppers, and spinners.
• Prohibited: any type of worms (live or dried), maggots, grasshoppers, dragonflies, and other insects/larvae (live or dried).
• Also prohibited: groundbait, flies (even artificial fly-fishing flies), corn, dough/paste, or any other bait not belonging to spinning fishing.
4. Scoring system (speed fishing):
• The catch limit is 16 trout per team of two.
• If you reach the limit and return to the base before 4:00 PM, you earn a time bonus:
• +300 g for every full hour saved.
• +150 g for every 30 minutes saved (if less than a full hour).
5. After fishing, there will be a hot meal provided (either pilaf or our excellent solyanka).
6. Following the meal, we will hold the awards ceremony and announce the results.
7. To participate, a deposit of £100 is required, with the remaining £200 to be paid as soon as possible.
