About this Event

In October, we heard part one of the incredible OKC Olympic story: riversports. Now, we delve into softball while awaiting the LA (OKC) Games of the XXXIV Olympiad.
OKC is now the national and international softball capital. Once a poor cousin to baseball, softball is finding a niche - and a financially rich one at that. From the National Softball Hall of Fame to the ratings giant Women's College World Series and now the world stage.
- Sue Hollenbeck is the special events manager for the City of OKC. She played a key role securing both Olympic events and is now mapping the '28 road.
- Craig Cress is executive director of USA Softball, which owns and operates the National Softball Hall of Fame and Devon Park. USA Softball also produces Team USA, our Olympic representative.
