GOLDEN is the musical brainchild of four adult men from Charleston, West Virginia. After joining forces during the spring of 2021, guitarists and vocalists Cody Conway and Greg McGowan, bassist and vocalist Mikey Harris, and drummer Matt McKinney bunkered down for a few months before playing their first shows towards the end of the year, and the rest was history.
With a sonic identity firmly rooted in the worlds of rock and pop-punk, GOLDEN’s influences include favorites from their childhood days in the 90s like Blink-182 and Green Day, as well as the constantly evolving lineup of bands pioneering the modern pop-punk scene.
The bands debut EP, Running In Circles, produced by Rob Freeman (Gym Class Heroes, Hit The Lights, Armor For Sleep), represents the culmination of their march towards creating a unique and cohesive sound.
