FUNDRAISER IN AID OF AOIBHEANN’S PINK TIE, NATIONAL CHILDREN’S CANCERCHARITY
About this Event
September marks a very special month in that it is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
And for that very reason, on the 24th September at 7pm, we will be hosting a very special episode of The Stephen Leeson Show WITH A LIVE AUDIENCE!
A host of stellar artists will come together for a live performance in order to raise very necessary funds for the National Children’s Cancer Charity - Aoibheann’s Pink Tie:
This unique charity was set up in 2010 by Mick Rochford and Jimmy Norman after the tragic loss of Jimmy’s daughter Aoibheann to cancer aged just 8 years. When Aoibheann passed away the men wore pink ties at the funeral which was Aoibheann’s favourite colour. The charity was formed in her memory to remedy the lack of support for other children and their families going through treatment.
The mission of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie is to provide practical and financial support to children suffering from cancer in Ireland, and their families.
Aoibheann’s Pink Tie, National Children’s Cancer Charity receive no government funding and is supported by the generosity and tireless work of volunteers throughout the country and beyond. The work of Aoibheann’s Pink Tie is completed by a dedicated volunteer team - only one part time paid employee.
It is a cause really worth supporting and this event will be the first fundraising event for the charity since the beginning of the pandemic.

Please donate generously for this great cause! There will also be a donation bucket on the night. Every single Euro that is raised will go straight to the charity and will help families and children fighting childhood cancer and we appreciate anything you can afford to donate.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
With the current restrictions in place we can allow only a limited live audience! Hence ONLY ATTENDEES WITH TICKETS booked on this Eventbrite page will be allowed in. The tickets are at NO COST, but must be booked to give you access to the event.
Additionally as currently required ONLY ATTENDEES WITH PROOF OF FULL VACCINATION will be allowed in.
Anyone under 18 years of age and not vaccinated can attend with a fully vaccinated adult.
Sign-in starts at 5:30pm. Doors open at 6pm.
Please arrive early so you can sign in and be seated by 6:50pm sharp for the event to start on time.
PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND THE EVENT IF:
* You are not fully vaccinated.
* You have any symptoms of illness.
* You have been sick in the 14 days prior to the event.
* Anyone in your household has been sick or around anyone sick in the 14 days prior to the event.
FACE COVERINGS are mandatory inside the building.
