Gold Panning for All Ages 12:30

Join us in panning for gold! The Idaho Museum of Mining and Geology will set up this event in the courtyard of the Women's Pr*son at the Old Pen in east Boise. This Panning experience is provided by the Nampa Gold Prospectors. They are true prospectors and will teach both children and adults how to pan for gold. FREE for Youth and IMMG museum members. $5 plus Eventbrite fee for all nonmembers of the museum. This is great fun for families and you might strike it rich!

You'll also want to go inside the museum to discover the interesting and beautiful exhibits that tell the story of Idaho. Every child gets a free mineral!
