About this Event

Could your relationship be on autopilot?

Drifting apart is one of the biggest reasons why many couples decide to call it quits. But there are simple ways to prioritise each other and stop just going through the motions. In this event, we’ll share practical ideas of how to communicate well, deepen connection and intentionally set the course for your relationship.

You’ll leave with:

  • Ideas of how to stay intentional about choosing each other in the busyness of life
  • Proactive ways to build the marriage you both want
  • Tools to help you invest in your sex life and build emotional intimacy
  • Insight into how your communication styles may differ and ways to effectively communicate your needs
  • Encouragement that all couples struggle – it’s not a sign that your relationship is failing

Event info:

Imagine you’re on a flight to a dream holiday, only halfway through, you hit turbulence and have to do an emergency landing in a muddy field. Relationships can often feel like this. At the beginning, you’re excited about a new adventure, but without time, active effort and intentionality, you can drift, or even crash land. Every relationship will face struggles, but the good news is, you can be prepared for when the rough patches come.

Going the Distance is a brand-new event where you get a rare chance to stop, take stock and invest in your relationship. Our speakers, Katharine Hill and Philip Jinadu share from their own lives without sugar-coating the challenging moments. They bring genuine honesty, plenty of humour, and explore the essential areas that will help you spot warning signs, avoid roadblocks and continue your journey together.

Is it for you?:

Whether you’ve been together for years or are just starting out; if your seven-year itch is lasting longer than you hoped, or you’re in a permanent state of matrimonial bliss, we believe this event will help you in the now, and over the long haul.

And don’t worry – we’re not about group sharing, audience participation or putting you on the spot. We’ll leave the public speaking to the speakers!
