About this Event
Want to get in touch with nature in the middle of our dense urban environment? Then join us for a birding expedition through Washington Square Park! The park is known for nesting Red-tail Hawks and over 100 other species of birds.
Birders of all experience levels are welcome, as this is a communally led experience. We will meet at Hudson Park Library at 10:30am to sign our required waivers before we walk over to Washington Square Park.
We will have a limited quantity of binoculars to share if you do not have your own pair!
Check out this database to get familiar with potential birds we may encounter!
