God's Closet Swap is a FREE EVENT and is presented by Freedom's Coffee group. The doors will open at 9:45 am and close at 12 pm. Partners include Covenant Life Church and various Women's Groups. This event is both a Women's event and an Outreach event.
Here is a short synopsis of the event and we will provide more information via posting as we get closer to the day of the event.
Part one: Bring 10 - 15 articles of clothing (on hangers), shoes, purses, or costume jewelry from your closets that you would bless your best friend with to one of the hosts at their home church before March 12, 2023. Maybe something that no longer fits or that they find out is not in their color wheel. We have all had that outfit that looked so good in the store and when we got it home it made us feel mousy or frumpy or pale or ...(you get the idea).
Part two: Come SHOPPING with us! The second part of this event is coming together with our best friends or that friend down the street who NEVER takes care of herself or buys herself something nice. We will come together and "shop" each other's closets. Everyone will get a personal shopper to help them find just the right outfit! Help someone else find an outfit... We will have some ladies on hand to help you figure out what your ideal colors are.
Part three: The third part of this event is taking all the pieces that are leftover and blessing a women's shelter or homeless shelter with them.
