Your family is invited to a "Try It" class - a new student orientation for Godly Play! The "Try it" class is for children ages four through grade 5 and their parents. Come hear a story, choose a craft to do, and have a donut, and see what it's like to be part of Godly Play at St. James. Our Godly Play class is a Montessori-inspired program for children ages four through grade 5. We tell Bible stories, wonder, craft, and play together. Youth in Grades 6-12 are in the Teen Class, which follows a social justice and Bible literacy-based curriculum. We also work together on a Christmas Pageant during the fall months.
Our "Try it" orientation class for Godly Play is Sunday, September 7 at 9:00 AM.
The first day of Sunday School for all students, including returning students and teens, is Sunday, September 14. Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM. We finish in time to attend the 10:00 AM worship service. After the Children's Music and Moment during the worship service, children may go to choir practice. Choir practice runs from approximately 10:20 AM until 11:00 AM when the worship service concludes.

Parking and what door to use: Please park at 29 Pearl Street or at the Ulster County Parking Lot right next door. Please enter the church at the "elevator door" found at our parking lot.
