Join us for an evening at Goddess Temple, an intentional space for women, where we ground in meditation, ritualize the seasonal cycles, dance our authenticity and close with a sound bath to integrate the journey."In Pagan times the winter solstice was referred to as Yule and was a celebration of the Goddess (Moon) energy." We will gather to celebrate the deepest of the dark time, winter’s feminine yin to balance summer’s masculine yang.
Let us nestle as the roots do, in the depths of the earth’s womb, as we use this time to draw inward and reflect. Ritualizing the longest night of the year honours this dark time when we have the capacity to do our deepest inner work with the greatest possibility of transformation. We surrender and we trust, as the light grows slowly and steadily from this time forth, guiding us through.
Please bring offerings to honour the dark for the collective altar as symbols of your current transformations and/or to symbolize what you want to bring into the light.
Heidi will open the evening with a guided meditation and intention-setting followed by a brief ritual; she'll close the evening with a sound bath. Please bring layers, blankets and/or a mat for your comfort during the closing.
A dance journey follows the guided opening, featuring a diverse music set curated by Jaz and intended to nourish you from the inside out. The arc will be more gentle to suit this yin time of year. You are invited to be non-verbal during the dance as a way of deepening into the journey. Full movement freedom, authentic embodiment and whole-hearted expression are encouraged.
This is a safe, sacred container for women.
