I'm Luisa, I'm a comedian in the U.K who is fleeing her politically bankrupt country for the bright lights of America. The land of Dreams. I needed a place where I could meet lapsed catholics, who would enjoy the premise of a musical from a woman who's never written one and experiment in a political climate which is polarizing but closer in location proximity to Lin Manuel and Whoopi Goldberg. That's you LA! Brace yourself for my female Book of Mormon. I can’t sing or play music. But I did grow up on Sister Act 1 and 2 to know a hit when I see one. This is a rough and ready idea, a pitch for a musical, and you can help me develop it! It’s all about Mary Magdalene. An epic one-woman experiment.
