When we sit too long (working at a desk, driving, or just relaxing) our glute muscles get sleepy and lead to a domino effect on our body. When our hip flexors tighten and our glutes shut down, the rest of the body tries to pick up the slack resulting in chronic pain for our back, hips, & knees.
