Hot Thanksgiving Dinner Give Away
Crenshaw District at Consolidated Board of Realtist!
Help us provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to those in Need! We can add more tickets!
· 7:30am - Arrive to Set Up
· 8am-12:00pm assemble food bags and deliver
· 12:15pm return from deliveries and clean-up
· 12:45-1pm discuss overview of day
· Everything will be completed on or most likely before 1pm if we ALL pitch in and HELP.

Gobble, Gobble, Give is POTLUCK WITH A PURPOSE:
Crenshaw would prefer an RSVP for a headcount and requests NO CLOTHING DONATIONS. Food and toiletry kits are welcome and encouraged! We mostly would love to have your helping hands and a hot side dish donation so that we may feed more people.
VOLUNTEERS WILL HELPING IN ONE OR MULTIPLE AREAS:
- Set Up
- Coordinate taking in of food that is being dropped off
-BBQ
- Help prepare plates of food together with your fellow volunteers
- Help assemble meal bags together with your fellow volunteers
- Meal Counters
- Drive bags to the streets to hand to a homeless person or deliver to someone in need
- Help in Kitchen area
- Clean up
PLEASE BRING THE FOLLOWING:
- A DISH OF FOOD. Already cooked. Warm is preferred. It can be as little as a side of vegetables (corn, green beans, macaroni & cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, etc.). We can always use more cooked turkeys, main course items, dinner rolls, and of course, desserts are always welcome too.
- Volunteer to cook a donated turkey the day before so it’s hot and ready on Thanksgiving day.
- FIVE (5) SMALL TOILETRY KITS. that include a: toothbrush/toothpaste, soap, and shampoo, etc.
- Just bring yourself if you are unable to donate, show up to Help out!
