ABOUT GOAT HONKY TONK:
Cost: FREE!
From Hank Williams Sr to Merle Haggard, the honky tonk won't stop until we have your boots scootin to the sounds of country and bluegrass. Not only will there be your favorite hits played on vinyl but our DJ will host games and prizes throughout the honky tonk!
This event is complimentary of the SFR shindig! You pay your entry and you can enjoy the DJ!
If you love goats and you love country music, lets get down and dusty!
FALL SHINDIG INFORMATION:

It’s nearly time for this annual special event at Sonflower Ranch! There will be much to do, including, farm tours to see the animals, a variety of vendors, bouncy house, face painting, hay rides and goat yoga!
Join us for some goat shenanigans or go play with some mini donkeys! Either way you'll have a great time connecting!

ABOUT SONFLOWER RANCH:
The Sonflower Ranch is something only one can experience to know how truly beautiful it is. Owners and operators, Mike King and Kieth Gunn have built a breathtaking wildlife rehabilitation center for many different animal species and breeds. From raccoons, Emu's and various horse breeds to an aviary that is home to hundreds of beautifully colored birds.
There is no shortage of adorable with the Mini Nubian goats at SFR! These little goats were born about 3 months ago and they are extremely playful and friendly. They stand about 14" tall, floppy ears and have little tufts of fur on the back of their bowed legs. We promise you'll have a cuteness OVERLOAD!!
Once the lesson is complete, take a tour with SFR! Visit their gift shop!

At Goat Walkabouts, we believe our programs are much more than just fun, animal-infused activities. Together, we’re on a mission, and we invite you to join us in making a difference!
All proceeds from our offerings directly fund our efforts to rescue goats and socialize them for therapy. Together, we’re changing perspectives about goats and the impact they can have.
When you attend our events, you help someone with dementia experience a better quality of life through memory care therapy. Your support also helps rescue goats, giving them a safe, loving home—far from the grim reality of livestock auctions and the unfortunate situations many face.
Supporting our program also supports maintaining our natural habitats in natural areas and offering fire mitigation with our herds.
