Goat Cheese Making

The Lakehouse & Table is teaming up with EDoubleE Farms LLC to host a class making cheese using our goats milk. Join us Sept 13th at 10am (hard start, so arrive a little early) for a demo/class on cheese.

What to expect:Cassandra will demo the beginning steps to make a simple fresh goat cheese at home -heating the milk to straining the cheese. During the demo, Cassandra will go over some concepts regarding cheese making and answer questions.

Each participant will enjoy finishing up the process by adding salt and seasonings (optional) to curds prepped earlier, and will package it up to take home. This is the best part of the process because you get to TASTE your cheese!!

All ingredients and tools will be provided, so bring yourself, your friends, and a can-do attitude!

After the event, The Lakehouse will have some items available to purchase to help you continue your cheese making journey at home and Cassandra will have items from the farm available for purchase as well.
