Go_A es una banda electro-folk formada por primera vez en 2012. El nombre de la banda significa "volver a las raíces" y fue concebida a partir de la unión de la palabra inglesa "Go" y da la letra griega "Alpha", que es símbolo del comienzo del todo.
La banda llamó la atención por primera vez con el lanzamiento de su sencillo "Vesnianka" que ganó la competición de las mejores pistas en Ucrania en 2015. La canción quedó primera en clasificarse por seis semanas en la 10 Dance Chart de radio Kiss FM en Ucrania. En el otoño de 2016, Go_A lanzó su álbum debut "Follow the tune" con la Moon Records. El álbum consiste en diez canciones, incluyendo "Vesnianka". En 2017 lanzaron un sencillo de navidad con Katia Chilly titulado "Shchedryi vecchie". Fueron elegidos para representar a Ucrania con la canción "Solovey" en los Eurovision Song Contest 2020 en Rotterdam, Holandia. Go_A is a Ukrainian electro-folk band first formed in 2012. The band's name means "return to the roots" and was made by combining the English word "Go" with the Greek letter "Alpha", which symbolizes the beginning of everything. The band first gained attention after the release of their single “Vesnianka” which won the national competition ‘The Best Track’ in Ukraine in 2015. The song stayed Number 1 for six weeks on the 10Dance chart of the Kiss FM radio station in Ukraine. In the fall of 2016, Go_A released their debut album “Follow the Tune” under Moon Records. The album consists of ten songs, including “Vesnianka.” In 2017 they released a Christmas single with Katia Chilly titled “Shchedryi vechir.” They were set to represent Ukraine and perform the song “Solovey” for the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Although the contest was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, they represented Ukraine the following year and placed fifth overall in the Grand Final with their performance of “Shum.” Since then, “Shum” has reached Number 59 in the UK, and Number 24 on the Top Hot Dance/Electronic Songs of the American Billboard.
