A 6-week oil painting workshop, exploring our Hastings River. From the mountains where it begins, to the mouth where the river enters the sea, 180kms away.Learning the use of oil paint and oil sticks, this journey will include the value of depth and movement in a composition as well as ways to paint water with a paddle brush.
Images will be supplied from Jill's research associated with the concurrent exhibition: Let Our River Speak.
Totally odourless solvent will be used, and this workshop is open to beginners and artists wanting to explore more.
