Try something new - Bike ride from the campus.About this Event
G o Velo are pleased to offer a gentle, steady led ride from the UCLAN campus as part of reflection week.
Participants can enjoy a ride which will follow the canal and follow routes along Burnley greenway. These links are great for commuting in a traffic free environment and can also help spark that passion for cycling and encourages commuting by bike.
- B ikes and helmets will be provided.
- Participants must be able to cycle independently.
- Please ensure clothing is suitable for cycling eg - no loose fitting clothing that can be caught in the cycle.
A pre ride assessment will be conducted prior the the ride to ensure participants are able to cycle. We need to be able to determine that riders are suitable to ride along the canal.
***I f for any reason someone is deemed unsuitable for the ride, they will not be able to continue and signposted to one of Go Velo's other, more suitable courses.***
