About this Event
Join Neill Sanders from Go Stargazing for an evening under the starry skies at Ribblehead Viaduct. Using a large-aperture telescope you'll enjoy views of the planets Saturn, Jupiter and Mars as well as fascinating objects from galaxies and nebulae to double stars and star clusters. If the weather is cloudy there will be an indoor presentation of what can be seen in the night skies and a talk about the search for planets around other Suns.
A beautiful half-Moon will rise from the Eastern horizon towards the end of the event.
The ticket includes a warming bowl of soup which will be served during the event but if you wish to join us early and enjoy something from our winter menu please let us know and we will book you a table.
Discounts are also available if you wish to stay over in the Bed and Breakfast, please call the pub directly to book the ticket and accommodation together on 01524241274.
Please wrap up warm and bring a torch!
